Matthew joined Amrop as a Partner in 2012. He manages the firm’s Telecom, Media and Technology, and Professional Services practices. Matthew has worked in executive search, board advisory and leadership development since the beginning of the political and economic transformations in Poland and CEE. Since 1991 he has worked closely with clients, matching their key strategic and business requirements with senior executive talent. His experience includes helping companies enter the Polish market through to supporting strategic restructuring, integration of acquisitions and regional expansion. He also advises non-executive chairmen and shareholders on building effective and sustainable boards and governance processes. Matthew started his career as a management consultant in the United States. He introduced and led a global executive search firm, responsible for Poland as well as CEE. During his two decades in search, Matthew has conducted searches across industry but especially within technology, telecom & utilities, business services and financial services. In technology he has experience in senior IT, engineering and operational leadership. Matthew sits on several non-profit and corporate advisory/supervisory boards including the Polish Institute of Directors. He graduated from Dartmouth College and has a certificate in Polish language from Jagiellonian University. Matthew has also completed an executive program in organizational leadership at Harvard Business School.
