biography
John is a Managing Director of Equinox Partners in New York. John is a senior advisor to the firm and supports our senior-level financial searches on a national level. He is recognized as a driving force behind the development of the interim management sector and is the author of the acclaimed 'The Portable Executive' (Simon and Schuster, 1995). John has over 35 years of experience in business, with focus on finance and public accounting, including service as an Executive Vice Chairman of KPMG. After retiring from KPMG, he formed IMCOR, a nationally recognized interim management firm that he sold to Spherion in 1997. His senior executive and strategic experience provide significant leverage for the firm. John holds a BBA from Clarkson University, and a JD from New York University School of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the NY State Bar, and a Certified Executive Coach.
