Bill Vick

biography

Bill Vick spent his early career years in executive sales management focusing in the consumer products industry and then computer retail and software industries.

He joined Management Recruiters International in 1986 as a recruiter where he was their National Rookie of the year in 1987. Subsequent to that, Bill ran his own retained search firm, Vick & Associates.

He was a founder and board member of the Pinnacle Society recognizing achievement in the staffing industry, a national speaker for National Association of Personnel Consultants, served on the Board of Directors of The Texas Association Staffing Services was an officer with the Metroplex Association of Personnel Services and a founder of the local Dallas Independent Recruiters Group or IRG.

In 1991 Bill formed Solo Systems, a software company that produced software for the staffing industry while maintaing his retained search business. He sold his recruiting business and software company to focus exclusively on his Ad-Cast collection of Internet companies which included Recruiters OnLine Network, a top 100 internet site which he founded in 1995. In 2002 he sold the Ad-Cast collection of companies and in 2003 launched two not for profit web sites, XtremeRecruiting.org and SeniorSuccess.net. His latest mission is The Phoenix Link, a new business model that combines the best of not for profit services with staffing, collaborative and outplacement resources for experienced executives and technologists. As a founder, his goal is to change the demographic of the American workplace and to seek out and assist experienced executives and technologists with over 20 years experience in their re-careering efforts. He currently is a partner in the Executive Search Firm of Ternosky & Vick Executive Search.He is an active speaker to career groups and professional recuiters on re-careering and transitioning in today's job market.
