Slava Volkov

Slava Volkov founded Slava Executive Search & Selection in 1991 and has been its Managing Partner since then. He is one of the most experienced Executive Search Consultants in Russia and has solid expertise in handling top level Executive Search and Management Audit assignments for international and local companies operating in FMCG, Automotive, Energy, Metallurgy, Machine Building and other sectors. Due to his experience both in the Soviet times and new Russia, Slava knows the roots and peculiarities of changing mentality of the Russian managers and corporate culture and successfully shares his knowledge in this area while serving the clients. Slava’s previous experience includes Human Resources Management at the Ministry of Transport Construction of the USSR. His career history goes far back to the end of the seventies when he was the 4-th Mate at Arctic Steamship Line in Murmansk, Russia. He finished Leningrad Marine School in 1968. Then he received MS degree in Civil Engineering from Leningrad Institute of Railway Engineers. He is one of the founders of Human Resources Professionals’ League, Russia – a non-profit association of HR Managers. Slava is fluent in English.
