Janelle Walikonis

biography

Bringing with her a background of project management to the research and admin team, Janelle joined Oxford HR in January 2014. She is also PA to the Managing Director.

Janelle’s interest in development and humanitarian work first developed while receiving her undergraduate degree in International Business. During this time she successfully created both a Microfinance program for her School of Business and led as community fundraiser as President of her university’s Amnesty International Chapter. Whilst as a Community Economic Development Volunteer with the US Peace Corps in Eastern Cameroon, Janelle not only lived in a rural town for two years but also managed several community projects relating to youth, malnutrition, business development and reforestation.

Prior to joining Oxford HR, Janelle received a postgraduate degree in Development and Emergency Practice from Oxford Brookes University. The focus of her dissertation was on global policies that perpetuate hunger and malnutrition around the world.
