Mr. James Watkinson

biography

Jim Watkinson is a Partner with LGES and a former member of the executive search firm The Badger Group. He has a 25 year career in domestic and international sales, marketing, engineering, and general management experience. Jim’s search focus is on engineering, development, research, operations, and customer support within the information technology industry. Previously, he served as General Manager of the Computer Products Division at Sharp Electronics where he directed Sharp’s early sub-notebook computer products. Prior to Sharp, he was responsible for global channel development in the Personal Computer Division at Unisys Corporation. Jim has also held senior executive positions with Everex, Aion Corporation, and IBM Corporation where he managed some of IBM’s top accounts and largest product lines. Jim received an MBA degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and a BA degree from the University of Connecticut.
