biography
David is the Managing Partner of Amrop’s Budapest office. He leads the Technology & Media Practice Group in Central and Eastern Europe. He also heads Amrop’s Clean Tech Initiative, which includes consultants with specializations in technology, industry and energy who can deliver executive search and assessment services to companies focusing on green and renewable sectors. David’s career before Amrop includes senior positions with The Economist Intelligence Unit (Senior Editor CEE, London), PWC (Marketing and Communications Director, London/Budapest) and Wolters Kluwer (Managing Director, Budapest). Over the past 14 years at Amrop, David has conducted a wide range of senior executive search assignments in the technology, media, professional services and high-tech manufacturing sectors. Although his main focus is on the Hungarian market, David has often led international projects covering all of Europe. He also has considerable experience in Leadership Assessment and Coaching assignments. David is an Honors graduate in Politics from Oberlin College and has postgraduate degrees in Russian Studies from the University of Glasgow and in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. David is fluent in Hungarian. David is the current First Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary. He won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2012 from Hungary's National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers.
