Mr. Gentry Zacheis

biography

Gentry Zacheis is the President and Co-Founder of Academic Med Physician Recruiters. Gentry is involved in all aspects of the business, with a primary emphasis in the client relations component of Academic Med’s business model. Gentry is also responsible for creating and administering the firm’s proprietary physician recruitment model in tune with market drivers, client needs and technological innovations.

Prior to founding Academic Med, Gentry was the Project Director for the Physician Recruitment practice at Kaye/Bassman International Corporation (KBIC), one of the largest executive search firms in the country. During his tenure, Gentry was recognized consistently for his production accomplishments, including the distinguished corporate level award of “Project Consultant of the Year” in 2011.

Gentry graduated from the M.J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University with a double major in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management. He currently resides in Dallas, TX where he is actively involved in Wipe Out Kid’s Cancer (WOKC), a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research.
