Kris de Jager

biography

Kris de Jager founded the Executive Search practice, de Jager & Associates in 1991. Kris manages a diverse team of associates across a number of specialist practice groups in Australia. These include automotive, life sciences, professional services and FMCG. During the course of his career in Executive Search, Kris has successfully completed many national and international Search Assignments. He attributes his strong people skills, business acumen and an in-depth understanding of the value of good people to his success. Prior to establishing his Executive Search Practice, Kris enjoyed a successful career in the automotive industry internationally at a senior executive level with BMW and Jaguar. In 2002 de Jager & Associates became a partner firm with IIC Partners. In 2003 Kris was nominated as the global leader of the Automotive Practice Group, however in 2004 Kris became a Director of the international board and the leadership of the Automotive Practice Group was passed to Ross Imray. He also served as Vice Chair for the region during the 2005-2006 financial year. In his leisure time Kris enjoys spending time with his family and working on his farm outside Sydney. Kris is a keen student of current affairs, a keen golfer and an avid sports fan.
