Maria de Rossi

Maria joined Westwood in January 2010. She specializes in senior-level recruiting in Global Banking and alternative investments including Hedge Funds and Private Equity.

Maria has over twenty-five years experience in both the financial services industry and executive search. Prior to joining Westwood, she co-founded Artemis Partners, a specialized, relationship-oriented boutique executive search firm which allowed her to leverage her industry knowledge and network of contacts in financial services. Before embarking on this venture, she was a Senior Consultant at the Highland Search Group, where she spent three years developing client relationships with major financial investment firms. Maria also spent over ten years in institutional sales and capital markets at major investment banks in New York and London. She was a Director in the dollar and non-dollar institutional sales desk at Lehman Brothers in London. Prior to this, she also spent five years as a head of the US government institutional sales desk at Smith Barney. Maria started her career in sales and trading at Bankers Trust.

Maria holds both an MA and BA in Biology from New York University.
